An article was posted in numerous publications, stating Dell is now offering the draft "n" version of wi-fi networking in thier newest laptops.

The upside is the range on this technology is up to twice the range of the last verion 802.11g signals. Furthermore, it offers about 4-5 times the speed at 250-270mbps, not shabby.

The downside, the 802.11n cards in the laptops will only work at capacity with 802.11n routers. So, the upgrade may get you ahead of the game, but until you have router or signal which is also "n" you will get the standard 802.11g connection (assuming you dont have an earlier version router).
