MetroFi Municipal Wireless.
MetroFi is a California-based municipal wireless Internet provider which offers free wifi to large parts of the following cities:
California Concord Cupertino Foster City San Jose Santa Clara Sunnyvale Illinois Aurora Oregon Portland MetroFi provides the free service through an advertising-based program which allows the provider to recoup the costs of building and maintaining the network. The end user will be able to access the wireless network but will have to view advertisements while connected.
