The agreement benefits hardware manufacturers by providing a softwarebundle that allows them to efficiently and cost-effectively design Internetcalling and the Skype user experience into devices such as wired phones,WiFi phones and multi-function personal communication devices. Originalequipment manufacturers (OEMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs)will leverage the software bundle to shorten product development cycles andaccelerate their time-to-market.
