Exclamation WiFi.com Hotspots Locator.

We updated our hotspots tool yesterday. Currently you can access hotspots information from the US, UK, and Canada. In the next day or two we will be uploading the data for Germany, France, and "Other." Our other category contains countries with less than 200 hotspots. Those countries will be identifiable through the search (in other words, not listed as "Other.").

The rest of the data we have will be added in the next couple of weeks. We found many inconsistencies in the data and in some cases the information was flat out incorrect. So, we manually updated each location provided to us and cross referenced the locations using Wiki, Pubfinder, and search engines - this resource was valuable in locating webpages for spots we thought might have incorrect information.

If you use the tool and find any inconsistencies, please send us an email and we will sort it out as quickly as possible.

You may find some duplicates in the data - it could be a case of two providers listing the same location. These will be eliminated over time.

Be on the look out for our Municipal WiFi sub pages in the next week or two. To be more specific, if you live in Philadelphia or Anaheim we will be creating a muni wifi page for those cities very shortly. Other cities will follow and we will keep you updated through the forum and the main WiFi.com page.
