Ann Arbor - UM WiFi Network.
The county in which the University of Michigan resides, Washtenaw County, is planning a county-wide WiFi network which will encompass Ann Arbor - to include UM and surrounding areas.
The network Internet service will be free for speeds upto 85kbps (not to quick). Beyong that a user may opt to pay a monthly service of 35 dollars to get broadband speeds of about 500kbps. The service will likely be ready toward the end of 2007.
