Ok, I don't consider myself a technophobe, just techilliterate. How do I locate the name of the wifi network I'm using? My desktop PC is plugged directly into the networking device, so I don't have the little wifi symbol in the bottom right. However, I have new roommates that need the name of it, so they can log on. My old roommates (in)convienently don't remember the name of it. I've been looking through the various options in the Control Panel (Network Connections, Internet Connections, Wifi Network Setup Wizard), but none show me what I want. I found the modem name, like the tech specs, but it doesn't provide the wifi network name. The Wifi Wizard won't allow me to get any information without knowing the name of the network. D'oh! Can you help? Many thanks in advance!
