Rob Monster

Rob Monster

Chairman and CEO

Mr. Monster leads Monster Venture Partners (MVP). Prior to founding MVP, he founded Global Market Insite, Inc. (GMI), a leading provider of technology-enabled services to the global market research industry. Mr. Monster served as Chairman and CEO from 1999-2007, during which time GMI achieved annual revenue growth of 100+% per year and served customers in more than 60 countries. GMI is backed by Technology Crossover Ventures, FT Ventures and Voyager Capital.

Prior to founding GMI, Monster was a global product development manager with Procter & Gamble. During an eight year technology management career with P&G, Mr. Monster worked and lived in Europe, Asia, and North America. He also traveled extensively in Latin America as part of his global role in leading the development and commercialization of a series of successful new product initiatives.

Monster, a Dutch-American, is fluent in English, Dutch, and German. Mr. Monster has both a BS and an MBA from Cornell University where he studied Life Sciences and Economics

Monster is the winner of the 2005 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Technology and Software (Pacific Northwest). He serves on the boards of GMI, Healthcare.com, Demoxi, Gateskate and Clickable.com.

Co-Founder, Interim COO & Director of Search

Stuart is an expert in visitor optimization and content. He is a managing member on the WiFi.com board and is intimately involved in the day-to-day operations of business development and creating the ideal atmosphere for our visitors. Stuart and Rob created WiFi.com in January of 2007 with the vision of creating a ubiquitous wifi experience for everyone. With the help of many experts in wifi technology and wireless Internet businesses showing him the way, Stuart has become a knowledgeable and integral facet to the growth of WiFi.com. Stuart has extensive experience building user and seo-friendly websites and has the added ability to connect with people the first time he meets them. He is a true team player and a cohesive part of the WiFi.com team. Stuart also heads up Salient Properties, LLC., a real & virtual estate company. In addition, he manages BuildsOut.com, a web development firm, which helps domain investors create mini-sites for their domain name portfolios. Stuart holds a BA from the University of California, Irvine in Cultural Anthropology and a MS in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.

Max is the founder and CEO of Wishpot.com - one of the leading social shopping destinations. Before Wishpot Max founded two companies in Italy; one focused on consumer events and another a technology service provider. An experienced manager of both people and businesses, Max spent seven years at Microsoft before returning to his entrepreneurial roots. At MS he was responsible for the Exchange Server mobility story and co-authored four patents. He was also actively engaged in deals with Nokia, SEMC, Palm and Motorola. Max holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from UW with focus on Telecommunications.
